Saphenion in Focus – völlig unerwartete Ehrung
Saphenion in Focus – Heute erreichte uns ein grosser Briefumschlag der Focus – Redaktion. Ein wenig verwundert und nichtsahnend öffneten wir ihn….und dann war die Freude doch recht gross. Erstmals nach 22 Jahren Selbstständigkeit wurde Saphenion und der Chef, Dr. Ulf Th. Zierau, von der Focus – Redaktion auf die Empfehlungsliste gesetzt.
Gestern noch war ich mit dem Fahrrad durch Berlin Mitte und Berlin Wedding gefahren und hatte das Grab meines Diplom – und Doktorvaters, meines klinischen Lehrers und menschlichen Vorbildes, Herrn Prof. Klaus Bürger besucht. Und ich gebe es zu, ich habe mit Ihm gesprochen, über all Das, was man als Arzt heute so erlebt. Die vielen schönen Dinge und auch die weniger Schönen, die des Öfteren die Frage aufkommen lassen, warum man sich eigentlich so bemüht um alle seine Patienten.

Aber zum Glück habe ich mein Team in Berlin, Dr. Martell, S. Claudia, Birgit und Nele und ich habe mein Team in Rostock, S. Madlin, S. Nina und Nancy. Und alle helfen mir immer wieder, den Sinn des Arztberufes nicht aus den Augen zu verlieren und immer wieder motivieren sie mich, den eingeschlagenen Weg weiter zu gehen.
Saphenion in Focus – das ganze Team gehört ins Blatt gehoben. Unsere Patienten brauchen Euch Alle! Und ich bin Euch allen zu allergrösstem Dank verpflichtet für Eure nun schon jahrelange Arbeit bei Saphenion!

Saphenion in focus – totally unexpected honor
Today we received a large envelope from the Focus editorial staff. A little surprised and unsuspecting, we opened it. And then the joy was quite big. For the first time after 22 years of independence Saphenion and the boss Dr. med. Ulf Th. Zierau put on the recommendation list by the Focus editors.
Yesterday I had cycled through Berlin-Mitte, and Berlin-Wedding and had visited the grave of my diploma and promotion supervisor and my clinical teacher and human role model, Prof. Klaus Bürger. And I admit it, I talked to him about everything that’s experienced as a doctor today. The many beautiful things and also the less beautiful ones, which often raise the question, why one actually tries so hard to all his patients.

But luckily I have my team in Berlin, Dr. med. Martell, S Claudia, Birgit and Nele and I have my team in Rostock, S Madleen, S. Nina and Nancy. And all of them always helps me to keep an eye on the meaning of Ded’s medical profession, and they keep motivating me to continue on my chosen path.
Saphenion in Focus – the whole team belongs to the top. Our patients need you all! And I am very grateful to you all, for your years of work at Saphenion!
