Saphenion®: Krampfadern und Thrombose – Beide Erkrankungen gehören in eine enge Kausalkette. Das Risiko von Krampfaderpatienten, eine oberflächliche oder tiefe Venenthrombose zu erleiden steigt expotentiell um den Faktor 2-4. Bei Frauen mit antikonzeptiver Hormontherapie steigt das Risiko um den Faktor 8.

Saphenion®: Venenkleber zur Therapie der Krampfaderthrombose? Die Thrombose im Bereich der oberflächlichen Stammvenen und Hautvenen (Oberflächliche Venenthrombose – OVT; Thrombophlebitis) ist keine seltene Komplikation, Sie bedarf einer medikamentösen oder auch operativen Therapie, wenn die Thrombose in Richtung tiefe Venen wächst. Diese Situation ist insbesondere bei Thrombosen der Vena saphena magna und Vena saphena parva sowie anderer Stammvenen eklatant und führt in ca. 20% der Fälle auch zur Thrombose der tiefen Venen.

Saphenion®: Prophylaxe Venenthrombose mit Aspirin sinnvoll? Ist das Medikament Aspirin (ASS) zur venösen Thromboseprophylaxe oder zur Vermeidung von Arterienverschlüssen 1. Wahl? Schon seit 40 Jahren wird die Bedeutung des Aspirins zur venösen Thromboseprophylaxe intensiv diskutiert. Es wird in den USA  viel empfohlen und ist in Supermärkten frei verkäuflich. In den europäischen Ländern hat Aspirin als Medikament zur Thromboseprophylaxe keine Bedeutung mehr.

Nimmt die Zahl an Reisethrombosen zu? Aus unserer Erfahrung aus dem Gefäß – und Venenzentrum in Rostock ein eindeutiges JA!
Und in diesem Sommer 2025 dürfte diese Zahl noch einmal ansteigen – wir wir alle wissen, hatte das Covid-19 – Virus, als auch die Impfung und auch die Grippe -Impfung eine sehr hohe Thrombogenität, d.h. es besteht zur Zeit eine zusätzlich deutlich erhöhte Thrombosegefahr!

And this number is likely to rise again this summer of 2025 – we all know that the Covid-19 virus, as well as the vaccinations, also in influenza had a very high thrombogenicity, i.e. there is currently an additional significantly increased risk of thrombosis!
