Saphenion®: Turning Time at Charitè – The Berlin Charité, Germany’s well-known hospital, was at the same time a center of research, teaching, and further education. It was part of the university, which was given the name Humboldt in GDR times. After the end of the GDR a considerable exchange of management personnel took place in the Charité, the media supplied the accompanying music with Stasi hysteria and scandal stories. The Charité, also in GDR times nationally and internationally a well-known university hospital, now seemed to have been a branch of the MfS and the Politbureau in public perception.

Saphenion®: Unsere Wartezimmerkonzerte – Die OZ-Kultur vom 12.07.2023 berichtete: „Rostocker Arzt begeistert Patienten mit speziellem Konzept“ – der Journalist Werner Geske hatte die Praxis im Juni 2023 anlässlich des 10. Wartezimmerkonzertes, zu dem wir wie beim 1. Konzert Harpoon aus Warnemünde eingeladen hatten, besucht. Nach eigener Auskunft war er sehr gerührt von der Athmosphäre und der Möglichkeit, sich einen Eindruck von dieser Art Kunst in der Medizin verschaffen können. Angeregt führte er dann Interviews mit dem Musiker und Patienten.
Saphenion®: Our waiting room concerts – The OZ-Kultur of 12.07.2023 reported: “Rostock doctor inspires patients with special concept” – the journalist Werner Geske visited the practice in June 2023 on the occasion of the 10th waiting room concert, to which we had invited Harpoon from Warnemünde, as at the 1st concert. According to him, he was very moved by the atmosphere and the opportunity to get an impression of this kind of art in medicine. He then conducted lively interviews with the musician and patients.

Saphenion®: Krossectomie – Was bedeutet Krossectomie? Die Krossectomie ist zwingend notwendig bei der Therapie der Stammkrampfadern V. saphena magna und V. saphena parva und auch der vorderen und hinteren Vena saphena akzessoria oder Vena femoropoplitea. Dabei werden neben dem Verschluss der Stammkrampfader an der Mündung in die Oberschenkel – oder Beckenvene (V. saphena magna oder V. saphena akzessoria) auch die einmündenden Seitenastkrampfadern mit verschlossen. Dies gilt auch bei der Therapie der hinteren Stammvene V. saphena parva und V. femoropoplitea – diese münden jeweils in die Knievene ein und auch hier finden sich Seitenastkrampfadern. Saphenion®: Crossectomy – What does crossectomy mean? Crossectomy is absolutely necessary in the treatment of the truncal varicose veins V. saphena magna and V. saphena parva and also the anterior and posterior saphenous accessory vein or femoropopliteal vein.
