Unabhängig davon kann der Kleber auch erfolgreich bei der Therapie von Seitenastkrampfadern, Perforansvenen und Aneurysmata der Venen mit Erfolg im Rahmen des “off label use” eingesetzt werden.

Saphenion®: Venenkleber zur Therapie der Krampfaderthrombose? Die Thrombose im Bereich der oberflächlichen Stammvenen und Hautvenen (Oberflächliche Venenthrombose – OVT; Thrombophlebitis) ist keine seltene Komplikation, Sie bedarf einer medikamentösen oder auch operativen Therapie, wenn die Thrombose in Richtung tiefe Venen wächst. Diese Situation ist insbesondere bei Thrombosen der Vena saphena magna und Vena saphena parva sowie anderer Stammvenen eklatant und führt in ca. 20% der Fälle auch zur Thrombose der tiefen Venen.

Saphenion® Rostock: Therapiegarantie für Venenkleber – Für den Fall eines Therapieversagens bei der Therapie mit kathetergestützten endovenösen minimalinvasiven Therapieverfahren hat das jetzige Saphenion® Gefäßzentrum Rostock als erste Venenfachpraxis bereits 2010 eine Garantiecard für den effektiven Verschluss von Stammkrampfadern eingeführt. Im Falle einer Rekanalisation muss der Patient die Sachkosten für den Katheter nicht noch einmal bezahlen. Dies übernimmt die Praxis.

Vein glue guarantee in case of recanalization of treated varicose veins: Saphenion was the first vein care center worldwide to give all even-payer patients a 3-year guarantee for all endovenous treatments with radio frequency since 2010. Saphenion®: Unter der Verödungstherapie versteht man die geplante Ausschaltung von Krampfadern unterschiedlicher Lokalisation im Gewebe durch Einspritzen eines Verödungsmittels (Ethoxisklerol / Schaum). Dadurch soll eine ausgeprägte Schädigung der inneren Gefäßwand erreicht werden, die idealerweise zu einer Umwandlung der Vene in einen bindegewebigen Strang führt. Dieser rekanalisiert nicht und ersetzt in funktioneller Sicht auch das radikalchirurgische Herausziehen von Krampfadern.
Saphenion®: Sclerotherapy is the planned elimination of varicose veins at different locations in the tissue by injecting a sclerosing agent (ethoxisclerol / foam).
