Venenkleben an mehreren defekten Stammvenen simultan ist in vielen Fällen möglich. In Abhängigkeit von der Länge der Beine und der zu behandelnden Venen reicht eine 5 ml-Ampulle des Venenklebers VenaSeal® in einigen Fällen aus,  2-4 der betroffenen kranken Stammvenen in einer Sitzung, ohne Narkose und mit sofortiger Mobilisierung zu therapieren. Mit dem zusätzlichen Einsatz eines 2. Kleber-Katheters sind in jedem Fall 4-6 Stammkrampfadern dauerhaft effektiv zu verschliessen.

Sealing four veins simultaneously is possible in a lot of cases. For the independence of the length of the legs and the insufficient truncal veins, we need only one 5 ml – ampoule of glue VenaSeal for sealing 2-4 insufficient veins in one session, without narcotics, and with immediate mobilization. With the additional use of a second glue catheter, 4-6 truncal varicose veins can be effectively and permanently closed in any case.

Nach unseren nunmehr über 12 Jahren Arbeit mit dem Venenkleber VenaSeal® lässt sich mit Fug und Recht sagen, daß diese Therapie – Methode die bisher eindeutig positivsten Ergebnisse und Resultate, wie auch fachlichen Erfahrungen und Patientenreaktionen gebracht hat. Wir führen diese Therapie nunmehr seit 145 Monaten durch, das ist ein Zeitraum, der nahezu der Hälfte unserer gesamten ambulanten Tätigkeit in der Gefäßmedizin entspricht.

After more than 12 years of working with the VenaSeal® vein sealant, it is fair to say that this therapy method has clearly produced the most positive results and outcomes to date, as well as professional experience and patient reactions. We have now been carrying out this therapy for 145 months, a period which corresponds to almost half of our entire outpatient activity in vascular medicine.

Saphenion®: Venenkleben bei akzessorischen Stammvenen – Sealing of accessory truncal veins

Das Venenkleben eignet sich sehr gut zur simultanen Therapie akzessorischer Stammvenen. Diese zusätzlichen Stammvenen, meistens deutlich sichtbar über den Oberschenkel nach aussen oder innen zum Unterschenkel verlaufen, liegen nahezu komplett im Unterhautgewebe und nicht – wie die eigentlichen Stammvenen V. saphena magna und V. saphena parva – in einer Venenfaszie. 
Venaseal is a good alternative therapy for sealing the short accessory truncal veins. These truncal veins have been compared in functional and clinical importance like the GSV or SSV. We can see these truncal veins very well because of the nearly complete epifascial way from the inguinal junction to the lateral or medial lower leg.

Saphenion®: The Endovenous „Saphena“- We will try to give an overview of the historical development of the varicose vein treatment. You will agree after a short time with the words of Minkiewicz  (1862): „Comparative studies of all surgical procedures recommended against varices“ (25) that „the quantity of some healing methods proposed in surgical and therapeutic practice against certain diseases either proves that the former has not yet been sufficiently researched or that the actual healing method is yet to be discovered. This applies to a large extent to varices and the usual „operation methods“ “ and we will try to describe the first therapeutical revolution from radical surgery to the endovenous therapy of varicose veins in the Twenties. We will show our ideas, mistakes, and experiences considering the historical development.

Zusammen mit dem Hersteller des Venenklebers „VenaSeal“, der Firma Medtronic, möchten wir am 14.6. und 15.06.23 in unserem Rostocker Gefäßzentrum eine erste intensive „VenaSeal“ – Hospitation organisieren und durchführen. Die Agenda der Veranstaltung zeigt einen engen Bezug zum praktischen klinischen Alltag unserer Praxis, auch werden wir die Sprechstunde wie gewohnt ablaufen lassen.
Together with the manufacturer of the vein glue „VenaSeal“, the company Medtronic, we would like to organize and carry out a first intensive „VenaSeal“ hospitation on 14.6. and 15.06.23 in our Rostock Vascular Center. The agenda of the event shows a close relation to the practical clinical everyday life of our practice, also we will perform the consultation as usual.
