Saphenion®: 29 Jahre ambulante Gefäßmedizin mit Kathetertechnik – Wir bei Saphenion® haben uns seit 29 Jahren, genau seit dem 1.2.1997, auf minimalinvasive und Katheter-gestützte Operationsverfahren spezialisiert. Die Katheter-Therapie ist nicht einfach nur schonend und minimalinvasiv, sondern auch sehr effektiv. Mit der Praxiseröffnung 1997 haben wir begonnen, mit dem Arterienkatheter Einengungen und Verschlüsse der Bein–und Beckenarterien wieder zu öffnen. Seit 2002, also vor 24 Jahre, begannen wir mit einer ähnlichen minimalinvasiven Katheter-Technik die Therapie an den Krampfadern.

Saphenion®: Venenkleber zur Therapie der Krampfaderthrombose? Die Thrombose im Bereich der oberflächlichen Stammvenen und Hautvenen (Oberflächliche Venenthrombose – OVT; Thrombophlebitis) ist keine seltene Komplikation, Sie bedarf einer medikamentösen oder auch operativen Therapie, wenn die Thrombose in Richtung tiefe Venen wächst. Diese Situation ist insbesondere bei Thrombosen der Vena saphena magna und Vena saphena parva sowie anderer Stammvenen eklatant und führt in ca. 20% der Fälle auch zur Thrombose der tiefen Venen.

Saphenion®:: Indikation Op bei Krampfadern – Ist das Warten auf Symptome und Komplikationen regelrecht? Dieser Frage sehen sich hier und da Patienten und Fachärzte ausgesetzt, wenn Private Krankenkassen die Kostenübernahme bei noch nicht symptomatischen Stammkrampfadern verweigern. Und es steht die Vermutung im Raum, dass hier zum Zwecke der Kosteneinsparung seit Jahrzehnten bekannte Indikationen zur aktiven Therapie der Stammkrampfadern unterlaufen werden sollen.

Saphenion®: Reisethrombose – Wir hatten in der Vergangenheit, insbesondere in den Spätsommerwochen im Frühherbst und im Winter nicht wenige Patienten, die uns um Rat fragen oder gar mit einer im Urlaubsland beim Sommerurlaub oder Skiurlaub oder auf dem Kreuzfahrtschiff anbehandelten Thrombose zu uns in die Praxis kamen. Inzwischen sehen wir diese Patienten allerdings das ganze Jahr in unserer Praxis. Jede Woche bekommen wir Anfragen zur Problematik der Reisethrombosen, jeden Monat müssen wir entsprechende Therapien einleiten oder fortsetzen. Stellt sich die Frage: Nimmt die Zahl an Reisethrombosen zu?
