In einem internationalen Artikel aus der Londoner Whiteley Clinic von 2019 wird darauf verwiesen, dass die Patienten heute oft erst nach dem Preis fragen, bevor sie sich für eine Therapie entscheiden. Prof. Mark WHITELEY fragt besorgt, ob die Menschen vergessen, dass das Venensystem als Teil des Blutgefäßsystems eine ganz besonders wichtige Rolle hat. Und eben nicht nur ein billig zu behandelndes kosmetisches Problem ist.
In a recent international article from London’s Whiteley Clinic from 2019, it is pointed out that today’s patients often ask about the price before deciding on a therapy. Prof. Mark WHITELEY is concerned that people forget that the venous system, as part of the blood vessel system, has a very important role to play. And not just a cheap cosmetic problem to treat.

Saphenion® Ein halber Teelöffel VenaSeal® – Das Venenkleben mit der VenaSeal ist eine Technik, bei der grosse (!) Mengen Kunststoff in die Vene implantiert werden! So lesbar in einigen Statements und Veröffentlichungen von ärztlichen Kollegen. Eine andere nachlesbare Behauptung ist, dass der Kleber über 10 Jahre im Körper verbleibt.

Saphenion® Half a teaspoon of VenaSeal® – Vein sealing with VenaSeal is a technique in which large (!) quantities of plastic are implanted into the vein! This can be read in some statements and publications by medical colleagues. Another claim that can be read is that the adhesive remains in the body for over 10 years.

Saphenion®: Krampfaderrezidive aus der Leiste – Rezidive von Krampfadern stammen sehr häufig aus der Leistenregion. Dort, wo die Vena saphena magna in der Nähe der Beckenvene in die tiefe Oberschenkelvene mündet, ziehen auch weitere kräftige Seitenastvenen entweder in die Vena saphena oder direkt in die tiefen Venen und bilden den sog. Venenstern. Die Form dieser Einmündung ähnelt dem Ende eines Hirtenstabs, deshalb wird dieser Bereich auch als „Crosse“ bezeichnet.

Saphenion setzt die Mikroschaumtherapie seit 2004 ein. Wir haben in unserem Gefäßzentrum nach Eintreten von PD Dr. Lahl (2006) und Frau Dr. Martell (2016) einige Modifikationen der Injektionstechnik eingeführt und den Mikroschaum modifiziert. Die zwölfjährige erfolgreiche Arbeit mit dem Venenkleber „VenaSeal“ legte die Idee nahe, auch dem Mikroschaum zusätzlich eine klebende Wirkung zu geben.Saphenion has been using microfoam therapy since 2004. Following the arrival of PD Dr. Lahl (2006) and Dr. Martell (2016), we introduced several modifications to the injection technique and modified the microfoam at our vascular center. Twelve years of successful work with the vein glue “VenaSeal” suggested the idea of also giving the microfoam an additional sealing effect.

Der gemeinsame therapeutische Einsatz von Venenkleber und Mikroschaum ist möglich. Die Dominanz des Klebers bei der Therapie der Stammvaricosis wird gewahrt bleiben, ebenso wie die Dominanz der Mikroschaumtherapie bei der Seitenasttherapie.

The simultaneous therapy VenaSeal and microfoam is possible. The glue is our first choice in the therapy of truncal veins, the foam is our first choice in treating side branches.

Saphenion®: Vacuum – Kompression nach Krampfadertherapie – Unsere Erfahrungen nach Venenkleber und Mikroschaum
Diesen neuen therapeutischen Ablauf haben wir vor 10 Jahren in der Rostocker Praxis begonnen. Bis heute haben wir 659 Patienten mit postoperativer Kompressions – Massage und ab 2020 bei 674 Patienten mit der Vacuum – Kompression nach Verklebung der Stammkrampfadern und nach Mikroschaumtherapie während der postoperativen Nachsorge behandelt. Vom Erfolg der Therapie waren wir sehr überrascht!

We started using this new therapeutic procedure 10 years ago in our Rostock practice. To date, we have treated 659 patients with postoperative compression massage and, as of 2020, 674 patients with vacuum compression after gluing the trunk varicose veins and after microfoam therapy during postoperative follow-up care. We were very surprised by the success of the therapy!
